Naachiyaar Preview : Things to look forward in Bala's upcoming film

 

Director Bala's upcoming film Naachiyaar with Jyothika, G.V. Prakash and Ivana is hitting theatre screens on February 16, 2018 and here are a few things to look forward in the film. 

Bala's return

Director Bala's last two directorial outings may not have had the commercial impact his fans are used to and the promos of Naachiyaar have more than promised to make up for it.  Also Bala has never had a female protagonist more powerful than the male and that in itself arouses curiosity as to what the director has done with his characters this time. 
 
Jyothika's Fierce Avatar

The actress' "comeback phase" has only included feel-good female centric films but with Naachiyaar she managed to gain everyone's attention with just one swear-word. Kicking goons, being ruthless, bold body-language - we can be rest assured to witness Jyothika in a never-before-seen fierce avatar.
  
G.V. Prakash's makeover

Like Bala's every protagonist, composer actor G.V. Prakash too is seen in a totally made-over look. The trimmer, darker, clean-shaven G.V.P promises to show an acting side, which his audience and fans have not been privy to till now. 

Plot / Theme

As revealed by us multiple times, Naachiyaar is Bala's shortest film with a run-time of just 100 minutes. Besides, the movie is said to focus largely surrounding an investigation and showcases a love story (between G.V. Prakash and Ivana) too. Would be interesting to watch how Bala has taken this tale and said it effectively in such a short time.

Ilayaraja
   

Though Naachiyaar has just one song, the background score from Illayaraja seemed more than gripping in the promo videos. Naachiyaar is also his first release post being conferred with the Padma Vibhushan award which makes it all the more compelling for his fans to not miss the movie in theatres.

Naachiyaar is produced by B Studios in association with EON Studios and has a technical team of Theni Eashwar for cinematography and Sathish Suriya for the edits. The movie will be meeting Kreshna starrer Veera and Nagesh Thiaiyarangam at the box-office.
