In Vijay Antony's Thimirupudichavan, where he'll be playing a cop for the first time, Nivetha Pethuraj has been cast as the lead heroine. She'll also be playing a cop, and has been training to ride a bullet. The very popular Nivetha will also be having stunt sequences, without any stunt double, in this film. 

Daniel Balaji has been cast as a gangster baddie in this Ganeshaa directorial. The shoot of the film has begun today in Chennai, with a formal pooja.
