Director Sargunam of 'Kalavani' fame recently launched his own production house Varmans production. He is set to direct and produce the sequel of Kalavani titled K2 under his home banner. Vimal and Oviya will play the lead roles in the sequel too. The film went on floors today.

Kalavani which hit the screens in 2010 was a romantic comedy film and also marks the debut of director A. Sargunam as well as Oviya.
