Jiiva's return to light-hearted comedy & exclusive details on his next

 

Siva Manasula Shakthi was a comic entertainer that kind of cemented actor Jiiva's place among the audience's favourites. Though the actor has imbibed comedy in his films from time to time, it wasn't until 2017 that the actor kind of returned to the genre with Sangili Bungili Kadhava Thorae. The film might not have worked for the actor but he sure does seem keen on sticking to the comic genre; his next release being Sundar.C's sequel film Kalakalappu 2 (hitting theatre screens on February 9, 2018) and his upcoming next being Gorilla - a heist-comedy thriller.

Adding to this list of light-hearted ventures, MovieCrow has learnt exclusively that Jiiva will next be seen teaming up with Mapla Singham director Rajashekar for a family entertainer similar to the Vimal starrer. An official announcement on the same is expected to be made soon.
