Kaala release date revealed by Rajinikanth


At day 5 of the fans meet, superstar Rajinikanth spoke about two of his upcoming films 2.0 and Kaala. While he attributed the pending CGI and re-recording works to the delay of 2.0, he re-confirmed the fact that the film is indeed planning to release for Tamil New Year i.e. April 14, 2018. Also, speaking about Pa. Ranjith directed Kaala, this is what he had to say : "Pa Ranjith has shown a different Rajinikanth in Kaala, something you have not seen me do in the past. I felt really happy doing that role in Kaala. The film will release two months after 2.0. I am not sure what I am going to do after Kaala, it all lies in the hands of God."


Does this mean that Kaala will be releasing by or after mid-June, 2018?. Also starring Huma Qureshi, Samuthirakani, Anjali Patil, Nana Patekar, Sukanya, Eswari Rao, Sayaji Shinde, Sampath Raj, Ravi Kale, Pankaj Tripathi, Aravind Akash, Dhileepan, Yatin Karyekar and Sakshi Agarwal among others, Kaalahas Santhosh Narayanan for music, G Murali for camera and Sreekar Prasad for the edits. The film is produced by Dhanush under his home banner Wunderbar Films and will be released by Lyca Productions.
