Velaikkaran's massive pre-release business

Sivakarthikeyan's stardom and fan base have been growing at a fast rate, ever since he became a hero. With each passing film, he has been setting the bar higher.

His upcoming Velaikkaran's TN theatrical rights have been sold for a whopping 36 CR, which is a major new high for SK. It must be noted that Suriya's TSK also has a comparable TN theatrical rights value.

Velaikkaran needs to gross close to 75 CR in TN to become a Hit. If that happens, Sivakarthikeyan's stardom in TN will be in a different league and he'll be counted next only to the Top3 - Rajini, Vijay and Ajith.

Velaikkaran is gearing up for a grand release on December 22 and the advance bookings have begun.
