The latest edition of the Muni/Kanchana series, Kanchana 3 (Muni 4) which is written and directed by Raghava Lawrence was the first project Oviya signed up for after her famous stint at the Bigg Boss Tamil show. Latest reports suggest that the Kalavani actress has walked out of the movie, as the movie was taking longer than expected to begin. However, there has been no official confirmation on the same.
   
Kanchana 3 (Muni 4) is a trilungual that will be releasing in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi and all language songs have procured from DooPaDoo. The film which direct sequel to Kanchana 2 also starrs actress Vedhika and new-face Nikitha among others. Produced by Sun Pictures, the horror-movie plans to hit theatre screens next year.
