Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru Preview - Round 2 of Karthi in a Cop Story

Karthi starrer Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru (Khakee in Telugu) premieres in the US on November 16, 2017 and here is a preview of out what to expect from the film.

Karthi as a cop 

After the highly successful and entertaining Siruthai, Karthi is returning in a cop role with Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru. While Siruthai had Karthi playing a comic and a cop, TAO is expected to have Karthi playing a romantic yet serious police officer.

H. Vinoth - the proven director 

In 2014, H. Vinoth debuted with Sathuranga Vettai which was critically acclaimed. The idea of him directing Karthi in a commercial entertainer, sure piques interest.

Real Life Cop Story

Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru is based on true life incidents or as described the team "heinous crimes that happened between 1995-2005" and how it was handled by the Tamil Nadu Police.

Composer Ghibran 's transition

By his own confession, composer Ghibran was relieved to be scoring music for a "non-artsy" film. The romantic numbers constitute most of the songs in Theeran and are something to look out for.

Realistic Approach

Just like its story, TAO has approached certain characters and sequences as realistically as possible. The film has real life ex-deputy commissioner, a finger-print expert and some others playing themselves and its action sequences are said to blend in with the story rather than an individualistic sequence.
