Sivakarthikeyan has wrapped the shoots of Velaikkaran. Just a day's patchwork remains and composer Anirudh is expected to start the rerecording work in a couple of days' time. Recently the team shot for the hit 'Iraiva' number in Ajmer with the lead pair, Siva and Nayanthara.

The audio launch is planned towards the end of November in a grand manner by producer Rd Raja of 24AM Studios. The film will release on December 22 and theater bookings have already been done all across the state. Leading distributors are backing Velaikkaran, which is director Mohan Raja's followup to the cult Hit Thani Oruvan.
