Moviecrow Chennai City Box Office Report - October 20 to October 22

It was Mersal mania at the Chennai city BO. The film practically took over all the screens and raked in the moolah, big time. Theater owners were thrilled with the footfalls, thanks also to the Diwali festive mood and all the political controversies surrounding the film.

Mersal will hold fort at least for a couple more weeks. There is no strong competition in sight till mid-November. Looks like a sureshot Blockbuster in sight for Thalapathy Vijay, Atlee & team.
