Yuvan Shankar Raja to score music for Maari 2?

One of the major industry buzzes this weekend was the news of Yuvan Shankar Raja scoring music for Dhanush starrer Maari 2. While it is being said that director Balaji Mohan initially approached Anirudh Ravichander for his film, the composer of Maari 2's prequel is said to have politely turned down the offer. And if on-board, this will be a re-union of sorts between Yuvan and Dhanush after Yaaradi Nee Mohini, which had a phenomenal musical reach.

However, Balaji Mohan who formally announced the inclusion of Sai Pallavi, Krishna and Tovino Thomas is yet to make an announcement on the music composer. But it will surely be an interesting treat for fans if Maari 2, has Yuvan composing its music. Maari 2 is produced by Wunderbar Films and will be shot separately in Tamil and Telugu.
