The 3 roles of Vijay in Mersal

Recently a unintentional glimpse of a third poster from Vijay starrer Mersal had us into believing that he was playing the role of a politician in the movie (read about it here). Now, as though to clear the air over this 3rd role confusion, another image leak from the sets confirms that Vijay is indeed playing the role of a doctor who goes by the name Dr. Maran, with the poster description giving away the fact that he is foreign-return doctor; presumably some European country (going by the flag) and that he is being felicitated for his humanitarian services in the medical field. Since only a part of this image was leaked initially, the podium set up and the flags mislead one into believing that it was a political scenario whereas it was his speech-acceptance dias. 

So sum it up, Vijay will be seen in a triple role in Mersal playing a Village head, a Magician and a Doctor. Indeed a triple treat for Vijay fans.
