Its been 3 years since Vikas Bahl's Queen released and its remake news still garners a lot of attention down south. The original Kangana Ranaut starrer has been sold to be remade in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam and according to reports Amy Jackson has agreed to reprise the role of Lisa Haydon (from the original) in all the South remakes. On the other hand, earlier news was that the Tamil remake would have Tamannah Bhatia in the lead with actress turned director Revathy helming the project. But according to latest developments, Tamannah Bhatia has opted out of the project and Kajal Aggarwal has replaced her as the lead. 

 

 

The Tamil and Kannada remake will be directed by actor-director Ramesh Aravind who had earlier directed Kamal Haasan's Uthamavillian in Kollywood. In Kannada, Ramesh would be directing Lavanya Tripathi in the lead.
