Varalaxmi Sarathkumar roped in for Sandakozhi 2

Actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar who is expecting the release of her film Nibunan, Vikram Vedha and is currently busy in the shoots of Ammayi and Sathya has signed yet another film in Tamil. If reports are anything to go by then the Poda Podi actress has been roped in for a character role in the sequel of the Lingusaamy directorial, SandaKozhi 2. She will be seen sharing screen space with lead actors Vishal and Keerthy Suresh in the movie. 

Though Sandakozhi 2 was announced in the mid of 2016, the project saw its share of controversies, with the director moving on to another film and the producer cum lead actor Vishal lodging a complaint for the financial losses. However, Sandakozhi 2 was revived post an ambicable reunion between Lingusaamy and Vishal and the pre-production began from February this year. The film is expected to begin shooting from July, 2017.
