Amala Paul confirms being part of VIP 2

In one of her recent interviews to a news column, actress Amala Paul has confirmed that she would be in the second edition of her earlier blockbuster Vellai Illa Pattadhaari (VIP 2). The movie which has Dhanush reprising the role of Raghuvaran will be directed by Soundarya Rajinikanth. Bankrolled under V Creations (Kalaipuli S. Thanu) and Wunderbar Films (Dhanush), the movie has Sean Roldan for the music.

Director turned actor Samuthirakani, who was seen in the earlier edition has also been roped in for Vellai Illa Pattadhaari 2. Currently the lead pair Dhanush and Amala Paul are shooting for Vetri Maaran's Vada Chennai and are expected to begin VIP 2 by December.
