Vijay Sethupathi dons female avatar for Thiagaraja Kumaraja's film

This weekend saw a screengrab from the sets of Thiagarajan Kumaraja's upcoming movie going viral on the internet which was posted by a supposed fan club. The image which has been in the circulation since then featured the lead actor Vijay Sethupathi dressed up in a saree with long tresses. It also had the director Thiagarajan Kumaraja instructing and the cameraman PC Sreeram overlooking. Since the successful acceptance of Sivakarthikeyan's female avatar in his last release Remo, many actors in Kollywood were speculated to follow suit. With this latest development, seems like Vijay Sethupathi has taken lead to be the first one.

The yet untitled movie by the National Award winning director has Samantha Ruth Prabhu as the female lead. Thiagarajan Kumaraja has also roped in Yuvan Shankar Raja, his music director from Aaranya Kaandam to handle the sounds and scores.
