Aravaan Music Review

'Aravaan' has received a lot of buzz for 2 reasons - Karthik, the singer, debuts as a music director. The music album had a grand launch with A.R.Rahman and Maniratnam gracing the function.

'Nila Nila' has a simple tune that does capture your attention instantly. Vijay Prakash's voice adds to the gentle mood of this song. 'Unnai Kolla Poren' is a simple and predictable tune, but still works. A fine rendition by Bhavathaarini. 'Oore Oore' is vibrant and energetic. The rest of the songs might work with the movie, but doesn't capture your interest for repeated listens. Karthik does try his best to bring new sounds and tunes, at the same time he has kept things conservative.
