Jayam Ravi - AL Vijay movie begins today

Actor Jayam Ravi is all set to star in director AL Vijay's next, and as per an earlier announcement, the director-actor duo's team had their first clap today. Vijay was particularly keen on beginning the shoot on an auspicious occasion and what better day for a first day than Vinayagar Chathurthi. The director will be seen rejoining with cinematographer Tirru, who incidentally was also the camera-man of the director's debut movie Kreedam. 

Bollywood actress Sayeesha Saigal will be playing the female lead of the movie. For the uninitiated, Sayeesha has one telugu movie to her credit and is a part of the popular Hindi movie Shivaay (written and directed by Ajay Devgn). Both Ravi and Vijay have mentioned how excited they were about the idea of working with each other. We hope this camaraderie transcends to the big screen too.
