Kabali to release after Eid?

Superstar Rajinikanth's Kabali is doing red hot business in the trade. Earlier, it was said that the movie will release on July 1 and few overseas distributors started advertising across theaters with 'July 1' as the release date. However, as some distributors are not keen in releasing the film before Eid, the makers have reportedly postponed the release date of Kabali from July 1 to a later date.

Few sources claim that the movie might release on July 15, however there is no official word yet. Earlier, Kalaipuli S Thanu, producer of Kabali, revealed that the release date will be announced only after the censor formalities are completed.

Also, as per the latest update, Kabali audio release will not happen as a grand event because Superstar is holidaying in the US and the audio will directly hit the stores on June 12.

Kabali, starring Rajinikanth, Radhika Apte and Dhansika in the lead roles, is directed by Pa.Ranjith. Music is by Santhosh Narayanan. Think Music has grabbed the audio rights of the film.
