Preview of Pokkiri Raja and Pichaikkaran

Come Friday, there will be two more films battling at the box office, which is already overcrowded with more than half a dozen Tamil movies in the past couple of weeks. Let's see what Pokkiri Raja and Pichaikkaran promise to offer for the movie buffs this weekend.

Pokkiri Raja

After Yaan's debacle, Jiiva has taken his time for his next film and he is pinning his hopes on the commercial entertainer, Pokkiri Raja, which is directed by Ramprakash Rayappa of Tamizhukku En Ondrai Azhuthavum fame. Hansika plays the female lead in the film and interestingly, Sibiraj is a part of the central cast too. Imman has scored music for the film.

Will this Pokkiri Raja be as entertaining as yesteryear Rajinikanth's super hit film under same name?

Pichaikkaran

Director Sasi, who had made Vijay Antony score music for Dishyum, has now directed Vijay Antony in Pichaikkaran. With a weird title and an intriguing trailer, the movie has managed to draw the audience's attention. The movie has music by Vijay Antony himself.

After tasting success with Naan and Salim, Vijay Antony slid down with India Pakistan.
