Billa2 Trailer sets a record

Billa2 is now the most watched Tamil teaser/trailer, prior to movie release. Billa2  crossed the youtube record set by Nanban trailer by zooming past 1.25 Million views, just within 2 weeks after the earth-shattering teaser was released.

Nanban had big names such as Vijay and Shankar with a big army of recognizable starcast including Jiiva, Ileana, Sathyaraj, Srikanth, Sathyan and strongly backed by star music director and technicians. But, Billa 2's achievement is noteworthy because the trailer had only one widely recognizable person in the entire 1 minute teaser and of course, the splendid background score by Yuvan.

Billa 2 has now become the benchmark for the upcoming 2012 Tamil movies. It will be interesting to track whether Kamal Haasan's Viswaroopam trailer releasing on May 1 will be able to topple Billa2's record.
