AR Rahman Kaaviya Thalaivan release plans

'Kaaviya Thalaivan' starring Siddharth, Prithviraj, Vedhika, Nasser and Anaika Soti is directed by Vasantha Balan of 'Angaadi Theru' fame. The film has music by A R Rahman. Sony Music South has bagged the audio rights of the film. The makers of the film Y Not Studios announced that the audio will be released end of July and the movie will be released last week of August.

The movie is a period flick set in the 1930s and is about a group of theatre actors. AR Rahman has composed eight songs with several smaller ones, totalling 20. He has used folk music and ragams to bring in the 1930s feel for Kaaviya Thalaivan.
