Karthik Subbaraj's Jigarthanda still in the freezer

Jigarthanda directed by Karthik Subbaraj went to censor few weeks back and got a U/A certificate. The Entertainment tax exemption will be available only for the movies that are certified 'U' and this movie is denied for the exemption..

The producer of the movie wanted the director to edit the scenes to obtain a clean 'U' certificate. But Karthik Subbaraj feels those scenes are vital for the movie and refused to remove them. The issue is still to be resolved in order to serve the Jigarthanda to the audience.

Jigarthanda is a ganster movie with Siddharth and Lakshmi Menon as leading pairs.Music by Santhosh Narayanan.
