Dhanush's Velai Illa Pattathari trailer was released a couple of days ago. The trailer has received good response and has created a huge buzz on the social media. The trailer has already crossed 6 lakhs views on Youtube and is still counting. It has got 608,451 hits so far.

The film marks Dhanush's 25th film and the expectations have increased in multiple folds after the release of the trailer. Anirudh has scored the music and the songs have been topping the charts already. Amala Paul plays the leading lady. The film is directed by cinematographer turned director Velraj.

VIP produced by Dhanush's Wunderbar Films is slated for release in July. The film will be released by Madhan of Escape Artists Motion Pictures.
