Actor Rajkiran to release Sivappu

Sivappu is directed by Sathya Siva of 'Kazhugu' fame. Naveen Chandra, Rajkiran and Rupa Manjari play the lead roles. Raj Kiran was impressed with the film after watching the final copy. He is currently in talks with the makers to acquire the distribution rights of the film.  The film is set to hit the screens in August. The seasoned actor was appreciated for his performance in his latest outing Manja Pai.

 

The trailer of the film received good response from the audience. The film is about Tamils who have fled Sri Lanka and taken refuge in India. They want to lead a free life, and try to escape to Australia. But, they get a raw deal from the mediator and end up as construction workers here. The film deals with the lives of these people who don't have a steady place to live.

 

Cinematography is by national award winning cinematographer, veteran Madhu Ambat. Music by NR Raghunandhan.
