Siddharth Lucia wrapped; Jigarthanda soon

Siddharth plays the lead role in the Tamil remake of critically acclaimed Kannada blockbuster Lucia directed by debutante Prasad Kumar. Sandwood actress Deepa Sannidhi has been roped in as the female lead. This will mark her debut film in Kollywood. The film shooting has been wrapped and the post production work has started.

Lucia directed by Pawan Kumar was the first crowd funded Kannada language film which turned out to be a huge success. How a magic pill called 'Lucia' changes the life of an insomniac once and for all is the crux of the film. Music by Santhosh Narayanan. The film is produced by CV Kumar of Thirukumaran Entertainment.

Siddharth's upcoming projects in Tamil include Jigarthanda and Kaaviya Thalaivan. Jigarthanda directed by Karthik Subbaraj of 'Pizza' fame is ready to hit the screens soon. The shooting of Kaaviya Thalaivan directed by Vasantha Balan has been wrapped. The post production work is in full progress.
