Dhanush Amitabh Balki film title revealed

The title of Dhanush's second Bollywood venture directed by R. Balki has been revealed. The film has been titled Shamitabh. About the meaning of the title, Amitabh Bachchan tweeted, "The title #SHAMITABH does not have a particular meaning .. the reason for the name will be found in the film!!

The shooting of Shamitabh is progressing at brisk pace. The team recently wrapped the third schedule of the film and about 50% of the film has been shot. Amitabh Bachchan plays a key role along side Dhanush. Kamal's younger daughter Akshara Haasan makes her debut in Hindi with this film. 

Balki had earlier directed Cheeni Kum and Paa. The film will have cinematography by PC Sreeram and music by Ilayaraja.
