Sudeep clears the air on doing Lingaa

Kollywood grapevine was abuzz with the news that Kichcha Sudeep of 'Naan Ee' fame has been roped in to play the villain in Lingaa. Sudeep cleared the air on the rumours surrounding his role in Lingaa on his Twitter page.

The actor tweeted, "Me refusing 'Linga' is a false news. There was a rumour that a role was offered to me. Want to clarify that no such role had come my way. Working with Rajni sir is a dream and hope it comes true sometime." However Sudeep will be playing a pivotal role in Vijay's upcoming film to be directed by Chimbudevan. 

Rajnikanth, Anushka and Sonakshi Sinha play the lead roles in Lingaa directed by KS Ravikumar. Music score by AR Rahman. The film is produced by Rockline Venkatesh.
