UTV Motion Pictures and Thirupathi Brothers are getting ready to release their first co-production Vettai in January next year in time of Pongal.This film revolves around two brothers settled in Thoothukudi, with the elder one Madhavan plays Thiurmurthy the police officer & Arya plays his younger brother will be carefree local goon. Sameera Reddy plays Madhavan's wife and Amala Paul as her sister with whom Arya falls in love with.

This film has been directed by Lingusamy, who is known to have consistently delivered super hits like Anandam, Run, Sandakozhi and Paiyya. UTV Motion Pictures which will be distributing, marketing and syndicating the film worldwide, has already commenced booking cinemas for a grand Pongal release.

Vettai Single Track 

Yuvan Shankar Raja is composing the music for this film after his success combo of teaming up with Linguswamy in the past to deliver musical hits like Paiyaa & Sandakozhi. The Single track "Papparappa" a peppy track is sung by Yuvan himself and it  will be launched on December 12th in Chennai.
