A historical political drama, Parasakthi starring Sivakarthikeyan, Ravi Mohan, Atharvaa, Sreeleela, among others is a Sudha Kongara directed Tamil movie that released in theaters on January 10, 2026 (Saturday). As the movie gears up for its second week of theatrical run with Pongal holidays galore (January 15 2026 to January 19, 2026), Parasakthi's creative producer Dev Ramnath has given Tamil audience more reasons to watch the film in theaters. 

Speaking at the Parasakthi thanksgiving meet that was held in Chennai on January 13, 2026 (Tuesday), Dev Ramnath revealed that Parasakthi's digital premiere has been planned only after an 8-weeks gap. Meaning Parasakthi's OTT release on the Zee5 streaming platform could happen as late as March, 2026. 

With an 8-week OTT window, the estimated Parasakthi OTT release date is March 7, 2026 (Saturday). Notably, Parasakthi's streaming partner has not been officially announced yet. Parasakthi's satellite partner on the other hand is Kalaignar TV Tamil channel.
