Speaking at the Parasakthi audio launch, director Mani Ratnam recalled his first meeting with Sudha, describing her as sharp, well-prepared and already a perfectionist even during her early days as his assistant director and continuity in-charge on Ayudha Ezhuthu and Yuva. He added that her meticulous approach back then clearly reflects the filmmaker she has become today.

Mani Ratnam also lauded Sivakarthikeyan for being extremely selective and clear-headed about his film choices, saying he eagerly looks forward to his future projects. Calling Ravi Mohan “our Ponniyin Selvan,” he appreciated the actor for embracing multi-starrers, noting that such collaborations pave the way for more diverse and meaningful stories in cinema.
