Director H. Vinoth addressed the speculation surrounding #JanaNayagan during his speech at the audio launch.

“Some say it’s a remake.
Some say it’s a half-remake.
Some even think it’s being made on and off so that others can compete with us and win,” he said.

Clearing all rumours, H. Vinoth firmly stated:
“Let me be clear about one thing — this is a 100% Thalapathy padam.”

He also clarified that there is no special 15-minute farewell sequence at the end of the film designed to make fans emotional.

 
“This is not the end of Thalapathy — it’s just the beginning,” he added.

The statement was met with a huge roar of applause from the audience, marking one of the most defining moments of the event.
