Jana Nayagan, starring Actor Vijay in what is being touted as his final film before entering full-time politics, continues to witness unprecedented buzz and fan frenzy. With excitement at an all-time high, the film is gearing up for one of the biggest international openings, as it heads toward its worldwide release in early January.

While theatre bookings have already begun across Tamil Nadu and in select overseas locations, audiences and exhibitors are left slightly puzzled due to the lack of official updates from the team, especially with less than 25 days remaining for release. However, sources indicate that multiple major updates are set to roll out this week, particularly after December 18, following Vijay’s much-anticipated public meet in Erode.

It is also learned that major overseas territories will open bookings in the last week of December, once the production house officially gives the green signal. On the promotional front, the film will see the release of a second single ahead of the audio launch, which is scheduled to take place on December 27 in Malaysia. Adding to the hype, the official trailer is expected to drop for the New Year.

Jana Nayagan is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on January 9, with expectations soaring for a historic opening at the box office.
