Anupama Parameswaran's  Lockdown Release Date

Anupama Parameswaran’s Tamil film “Lockdown” is officially releasing in theatres on December 5, 2025. Directed by debutant AR Jeeva and produced by Lyca Productions, the film was initially planned for a June release but has now been postponed to December.

“Lockdown” is described as an intense emotional thriller exploring themes of isolation and survival during a citywide lockdown. The teaser showcases Anupama navigating empty streets in search of help, highlighting the psychological and emotional impact of such situations.

The film features a large ensemble cast including Charlie, Nirosha, Priya Venkat, Livingston, Indhumathi, Rajkumar, Shamji, Lollu Sabha Maran, Vinayak Raj, Vidhu, Abhirami, Ravathi, Sanjivie, Priya Ganesh, and Asha. The technical crew includes KA Sakthivel (cinematography), VJ Sabu Joseph (editing), A Jayakumar (art direction), and NR Raghunanthan with Siddharth Vipin (music).
