Karthi's Mass Entertainer Vaa Vaathiyaar Gets New Release Date

Karthi’s upcoming film “Vaa Vaathiyaar” has officially moved its release date to December 12, 2025, instead of the earlier planned December 5, as the team completes its final patch shoot and remaining production work. Directed by Nalan Kumarasamy and produced by Studio Green, the film features Karthi in a mass police officer role, with Krithi Shetty as the female lead and a strong cast including Sathyaraj, Rajkiran, Karunakaran, and Anand Raj.

The movie is described as an action-comedy with emotional depth and carries a tribute to M.G. Ramachandran, reflected in the title’s reference to the iconic song “Vaangaiya Vaathiyaar Ayya” from Nam Nadu (1969). The team is currently in an intense week-long schedule to finish shooting, and trade sources confirm the new date as December 12.
