Diesel starring Harish Kalyan in the lead is an upcoming Tamil movie written and directed by Shanmugam Muthusamy, known for making unreleased movies like Puranagaram (2012), and the GV Prakash starrer Agangathey (2016). An action thriller, Diesel will finally mark Shanmugam Muthusamy's debut as a director, and the movie is all set to release on October 17, 2025 (Friday), marking the Diwali weekend.

Latest update on Diesel is that acclaimed filmmaker Vetrimaaran has given a voice-over for the movie. The team unveiled a special poster thanking the director for the same. 

Also starring Vinay Rai, Athulya Ravi, Karunas, Kaali Venkat, among others, Diesel is produced by Third Eye Entertainment, SP Cinemas, and has Dhibu Ninan Thomas for music. Three singles from the movie titled Beer Song, Dillubaru Aaja, and Aaruyire are so far out.
