Kushi (2000) starring Vijay and Jyotika in the lead is a rom-com written and directed by SJ Suryah, and the movie was re-released in a grand manner in several key Tamil film markets on September 25, 2025. Kushi is a production venture of Sri Surya Movies, and Shakthi Film Factory the distributed the movie 25 years ago has once again distributed the Kushi re-release.

Kushi revolves around Shiva (Vijay) and Jenny (Jyotika) who cross paths through chance encounters, college rivalries, and a secret romance they refuse to admit—until a twist of fate and a near-missed goodbye bring them together in an unexpected union.
