Maareesan Streams on Netflix from August 22

Fahadh Faasil and Vadivelu’s Maareesan will be available on Netflix from August 22, 2025, just a month after its theatrical release on July 25.

Directed by Sudheesh Sankar, the road-trip comedy thriller follows a thief (Fahadh) traveling with an elderly man (Vadivelu) who has Alzheimer’s. The film, though praised for its performances, had a short run in theaters.

Maareesan will stream in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam with English subtitles. The cast also includes Vivek Prasanna, PL Thenappan, Kovai Sarala, Sithara, and Livingston.
