Sivakarthikeyan's Parasakthi Completes Pollachi Schedule, Final Shoot to Begin Soon
Sivakarthikeyan’s upcoming film Parasakthi is set to release during the Pongal festival. The team has completed a shooting schedule in Pollachi, and the final phase of shooting will begin soon. Filming was briefly paused due to ED raids related to the film’s production company, Dawn Pictures, over money laundering charges. Shooting has now resumed.
Directed by Sudha Kongara, the film is said to be based on the anti-Hindi agitation that took place in Madras during the 1960s. The film also stars Ravi Mohan, Atharvaa Murali, and Sreeleela in important roles. This is the first collaboration between Sivakarthikeyan and Sudha Kongara.
The music is composed by GV Prakash Kumar, with Ravi K Chandran handling cinematography, Sathish Suriya as editor, and Supreme Sundar as the action choreographer. The exact release date is yet to be announced, but Parasakthi is confirmed to release for Pongal.
