Suriya 46 (tentative title) is Tamil star actor Suriya's upcoming movie with Telugu director Venky Atluri in a maiden collaboration. Tollywood production house Sithara Entertainment, which is producing the film updated on Wednesday that the Suriya 46 shooting has officially begun. 

Additionally Suriya 46 music composer GV Prakash Kumar has revealed that the film's first single is locked. Talking about the project in a recent interview, GV Prakash who is teaming up with Venky Atluri after Lucky Bhaskar (2024) and Vaathi (2023) said, 

"We have begun composition and locked the first tune for Venky Atluri - Suriya film. It has come out very well. It would be very interesting. Just like with director Aadhik Ravichandran how 'Trisha Illana Nayanthara (2015)' and 'Marky Antony (2023)' were hits, with Venky Atluri both the films I did—'Vaathi' and 'Lucky Bhaskar'—were hits. Suriya 46 is my third movie with the director."

Suriya 46 marks Suriya's reunion with GV Prakash Kumar, 5 years since their maiden collaboration Soorarai Pottru (2020). The movie also stars Mamitha Baiju, Radhikaa Sarathkumar, Raveena Tandon, among others.
