Nivin Pauly Joins LCU as a Villain in 'Benz'

Malayalam actor Nivin Pauly has joined the Lokesh Kanagaraj Cinematic Universe (LCU) with the upcoming Tamil film ‘Benz’. The movie is directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan and stars Raghava Lawrence in the lead role.

Nivin plays the villain named Walter and will be seen in a dual role – one as a dangerous gangster and another as a calm, innocent-looking man. A promo video showed Nivin in a bold new look with gold jewellery, a hammer, and golden teeth.

Director Bakkiyaraj called him, “Nivin Pauly 2.0 – a certified baddie!”

‘Benz’ is the fourth film in the LCU, following ‘Kaithi’, ‘Vikram’, and ‘Leo’. This is the first LCU film not directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, but he co-wrote the film and is one of the producers.

The film also stars Samyuktha as the female lead. Music is by Sai Abhyankkar, and filming started in May 2025 in Chennai.

Netflix has bought the streaming rights, and fans are excited for this big new addition to the LCU.
