Vijay Wraps Up Jana Nayagan Shoot Ahead of Grand Release

Thalapathy Vijay has officially completed shooting his portions for his final film, the highly anticipated JanaNayagan, directed by H. Vinoth. The news was confirmed by the production team today, creating a wave of excitement across social media. The shoot, which began last year, is now in its final stages, with the remaining portions set to be wrapped up soon.

The #JanaNayagan team had planned a grand farewell celebration on Vijay’s last day on set, inviting the crew and fans. However, Vijay politely declined, citing that he gets too emotional on such occasions.

The film stars Pooja Hegde as the female lead, while Bobby Deol plays the main antagonist. Vijay is reportedly receiving his highest ever remuneration for this project. Produced by KVN Productions with music by Anirudh Ravichander, Jana Nayagan is slated for a January 9, 2026 release.

As Vijay now shifts focus to politics after floating his own political party, he is expected to pause his film career. Meanwhile, he will also honour top-performing Class 10 and 12 students from Tamil Nadu at a special award ceremony scheduled for May 30.
