Actor Sivakarthikeyan's 25th film written and directed by Sudha Kongara is titled Parasakthi, and the multi-starrer with names like Ravi Mohan, Atharvaa, and Sreeleela is also releasing in Telugu under the same title. A Parasakthi Telugu title teaser was unveiled on Wednesday, January 29, and the same can be viewed above.

Interestingly another Telugu dubbed Tamil film is also coming out with the title Parashakthi, and incidentally it is also that film lead actor Vijay Antony's 25th outing. Vijay Antony starrer Parashakthi, directed by Arun Prabhu, releases in Summer 2025. 

Parashakthi is a production venture of Vijay Antony Film Corporation, and the actor, music composer, producer of the film has released a letter issued by The South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce that the Paraashakthi Telugu title was registered by his production house on July 22, 2024. However the title Telugu title that Vijay Antony has used for this 25th film is Parashakthi, with one less 'a'. 

Sivakarthikeyan's Telugu dubbed film on the other hand has explicit terms issued by the Telugu Film Producers' Association that they can use the Telugu title Parasakthi (spelling different from Vijay Antony's film) in all bold from January 11, 2025 to January 10, 2026. Dawn Pictures has also released the Telugu censor certificate of the Parasakthi Telugu title teaser.

[January 30, 2025: Update] The Parasakthi Telugu title issue has now been amicably resolved. While Sivakarthikeyan's film will retain Parasakthi title in both Tamil and Telugu, Vijay Antony's film Sakthi Murugan will have a different Telugu title. However Sakthi Murugan will go by the Parashakthi title in Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam languages.
