"Sardar 2" promises thrills and social impact: producer Lakshman proposes a powerful sequel

Lakshman, Prince Pictures' producer, recently revealed exciting information about the widely expected sequel, Sardar 2. Originally intended as a "basic idea"/ 'a scene' for a sequel, after the release of Sardar (2022), the concept has subsequently matured under the focused vision of filmmaker P. S. Mithran, who has created a significantly deeper and impactful script.

Lakshman expressed faith in the sequel's ability to reach beyond the screen, saying, "Sardar 2 will have more impact than Part 1 in real life." This upcoming installment is expected to address serious societal issues, such as drug trafficking and exploitation, adding layers of depth to the action-thriller base.

With 28 days of filming finished, production is steadily progressing. The film will see Karthi reprising his dual roles, adding to what is expected to be one of his most ambitious productions to date. Sardar 2, with a score by Yuvan Shankar Raja, promises spectators a strong experience that combines action and social critique, setting the way for an explosive release.
