Meiyazhagan starring Karthi and Arvind Swami in the lead is all set to release in theaters on September 27, 2024. A breezy comedy drama written and directed by C Prem Kumar of 96 fame, Meiyazhagan also hits theaters screens in Telugu as Sathyam Sundaram on September 28. 

Promotions for Meiyazhagan are going on in full swing at the moment, and on Friday, makers 2D Entertainment released a self-produced interview with Karthi and Arvind Swami. The close to 45 minute video has Meiyazhagan's lead actors take us through how Prem Kumar wrote Meiyazhagan as a book instead of a film script, how the actors came on board after reading the novel sized story, the shooting process, Karthi and Arvind Swami's camaraderie among other things. 

Karthi and Arvind Swami also gave viewers reasons to watch Meiyazhagan in theaters, and an English translation of what the actors said follows:
