The Greatest of All Time starring actor Vijay in the lead, is gearing up for a grand worldwide release on September 5, 2024. The movie marks the maiden collaboration of Vijay with writer, director Venkat Prabhu, who has also worked with Ajith on a hit movie titled Mankatha (2011). 

Given Ajith and Vijay are considered "rivals" in the Tamil film industry, Venkat Prabhu is often subject to a "loyalty" test by fans on both sides. However, Venkat Prabhu has been one of the few successful Tamil film personalities who has managed to pull a picture coup with both Ajith and Vijay in it. 

Besides managing to click a picture with Ajith on one side, and Vijay on the other (image taken during the filming of Mankatha),  Venkat Prabhu had kept a visual of Vijay's Velayudham (2011) in the movie, and it was the first ever Vijay movie reference in a Ajith starrer. Since Mankatha, no other Ajith film has ever referenced a Vijay film again. 

Similarly, The Greatest of All Time has an Ajith moment in it, for which Venkat Prabhu even travelled to Azerbaijan where Ajith Kumar was shooting for his upcoming movie Vidaamuyarchi. While Venkat Prabhu did not reveal the details of this 'Ajith moment' in The GOAT, he recently said in an interview,

"There is definitely an Ajith moment in The GOAT movie. It is a good high moment which will be nice. I will not tell if it is Ajith's voice or a shot in The Greatest of All Time, because it isn't things like that. But it is a nice (Ajith) moment (in a Vijay film)." 

The GOAT trailer revealed that Vijay additionally repeats Ajith's famous dialogue from Mankatha. Venkat Prabhu reveals that Ajith's other upcoming movie Good Bad Ugly which is produced by Mythri Movie Makers, and directed by Adhik Ravichandran, has a moment where Ajith repeats a famous Vijay dialogue. 

"I don't know if I can say this but just like how Vijay has said an Ajith dialogue in The GOAT, Ajith has said a Vijay dialogue in Good Bad Ugly. They are quite happy and close with each other, but (I understand) fan wars will always be there." - Director Venkat Prabhu
