Andhagan: The Pianist starring actor Prashanth in the lead had a promo song release yesterday titled The Andhagan Anthem. A Santhosh Narayanan composition (or so it was believed), The Andhagan Anthem promo song had vocals by Anirudh Ravichander, actor Vijay Sethupathi, and lyrics by Uma Devi, Ekadasi. 

A few minutes after the song's release, music composer Santhosh Narayanan took a dig at Sony Music South audio channel, leaving the fans guessing. Now a whole 24 hours after The Andhagan Anthem's release, SaNa (as he is fondly known) has claimed that Sony Music, the audio label behind the Andhagan movie, has completely altered the music, lyric, arrangement, mix and master that he delivered.

The Andhagan Anthem promo song was released amidst big press, with Tamil star actor Vijay releasing the song, and most of the Andhagan cast and crew interacting with the media. Notably, music composer Santhosh Narayanan was absent during The Andhagan Anthem launch, and the press interaction that followed. 

A remake of Sri Raghavan's National award winning Bollywood hit Andhadhun (2018), Andhagan The Pianist is directed and produced by veteran actor, and Prashanth's father, Tiyagarajan in Tamil.
