Viduthalai Part 2 (stylised Viduthalai Part II) is an upcoming Tamil-language period crime thriller, written, directed, and co-produced by Vetrimaaran. The movie, a direct sequel to Viduthalai Part 1 (2023), is the final film of a two-part adaptation of B. Jeyamohan's short story Thunaivan. 

First look posters of Viduthalai Part 2 were unveiled on Wednesday, and they featured a younger Perumal (Vijay Sethupathi), a teacher and leader of separatist group as shown in the first film. Viduthalai Part 2 first look also showcases Perumal's love interest played by Manju Warrier. 

Viduthalai Part 2 is Malayalam actress Manju Warrier's second movie with director Vetrimaaran, after the National award winning Tamil film Asuran (2019). Viduthalai Part 2 is in final stages of shooting, and the movie sees the return of Soori, Bhavai Sre, Gautham Menon from the first film.

A production venture of RS Infotainment and Vetrimaaran's Grass Roots Films, Viduthalai Part 2 has Ilaiyaraaja for music, R Velraj for cinematography, and R Ramar for edits.
