Sivakarthikeyan's film Amaran has wrapped up its entire shoot ahead of schedule. The team completed shooting earlier than planned, finishing before June 2024. Titled after the 1992 film starring Karthik and featuring Sivakarthikeyan in the lead, this upcoming movie is produced by Kamal Haasan.

Directed by Rajkumar Periyasamy of Rangoon (2017) fame, the film is an adaptation of the book "India's Most Fearless - True Stories of Modern Military Heroes" by Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh. The team will soon commence post-production work, and trade analysts expect them to announce the release date soon.

The movie also stars Sai Pallavi as Indhu Rebecca Vardhese (Mukund V's wife) and Bhuvan Arora as Sepoy Vikram Singh. Amaran features music by GV Prakash Kumar and is expected to hit theaters in August or September.
