Thalaivar 171 (tentative title) is an upcoming Rajinikanth movie, which is gearing up for a title teaser release on April 22, 2024 [Monday]. With a week left for the same, it has now been revealed that the makers have completed the works for Thalaivar 171 title reveal video. 

A Sun Pictures production, Thalaivar 171 marks the debut collaboration of Rajinikanth with director Lokesh Kanagaraj. Recently there was a buzz that star actor Kamal Haasan has been approached to do a voice over in Thalaivar 171 title reveal video, but no solid confirmation followed. 

More recently, actress Shruthi Haasan has been linked to Thalaivar 171. Both father Kamal and daughter Shruthi have worked closely with director Lokesh Kanagaraj before, and it remains to be seen if any of them are indeed on-board Thalaivar 171. 

Another actor who has been associated with Thalaivar 171 off late is Sathyaraj. Though Rajinikanth and Sathyaraj have shared many movies over their decades-spanning career, their stint in Mr. Bharath (1986) remains the most memorable among Tamil cine audience.
